In Q3 2021, the top dining and restaurant apps on the Android platform in Kenya showed varied performance. Here’s a closer look at the weekly trends in downloads and active users for these leading apps.

KFC Kenya experienced fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at 759 downloads in late June, the app saw peaks of 1.1K and 1.3K downloads in late July and early September, respectively. The highest spike occurred in the final week of September, with downloads reaching approximately 1.8K.

Golden Bell maintained a relatively stable download trend. Weekly downloads began at around 900 and hovered between 600 and 900 for most of the quarter. Notably, the app experienced a peak of nearly 1K downloads in the last week of September.

KFC Delivery - Africa saw a downward trend in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting with 895 downloads in late June, the app’s downloads gradually decreased, hitting a low of 284 in mid-September. There was a slight uptick towards the end of September, with downloads reaching 356.

Freshee: Customer App demonstrated a mixed performance. After a low start with just 16 downloads in late June, the app saw significant growth, peaking at approximately 1.1K downloads in early August. The quarter ended on a high note with a surge to 1.6K downloads in the final week of September.

KFC Qatar - Order food online showed consistent growth in active users, starting with 581 in late June and reaching up to 1.4K by mid-September. Weekly downloads also showed positive trends, with notable peaks of 702 downloads in early August and 604 downloads in the final week of September.
